Watwa Engineers Private Limited – Aimed to generate employment opportunities clocks 2.5 crores
New Delhi (India), May 8: With a mission to provide jobs for people, Shashikant Vishwakarma started Watwa Engineers Private Limited and now clocked 2.5 crores annual revenue employing more than 25 people.
Shashikant Vishwakarmadid doesn’t do the job to save the ending water and environment; he has planted 60 lakh liters of water, so freecycle and reuse plants every day. This is a Story of an engineer who saved water. A resident of Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, named Shashikant Vishwakarma, studied engineering and Masters in Environment.
He says, “I always wanted to be different and did not want to work for someone else, so I made the decision to give people jobs and make them independent. And in just 5 years, this business concept has generated a turnover of crores.”
Shashikant saw that the entire world is concerned about global warming and water scarcity, as well as the lack of employment and skills in India, and he wanted to do something for the country in addition to studying engineering. In metro areas, finding a job is simple, but residents of small towns must look to metro areas for employment. Shashikant, who is primarily from Kasganj in Uttar Pradesh, made Bareilly his place of employment. Shashikant’s father, Mr. KK Vishwakarma, provides his own services in the railway industry. And with all of this in mind, Shashikant founded the “Watwa” company in 2018 from the Uttar Pradesh city of Bareilly. The word “Watwa,” which means “Water Warriors,” marked the beginning of the process of conserving water, protecting the environment, and empowering the populace. began with the slogan “KeematSamjho Pani Ki!” Currently, the startup “Watwa” offers its services throughout the nation and is taking the initiative to raise awareness of the importance of water conservation.
“I initially had no work for a year because the company was new, and I lacked any previous work,” says Shashikant. He persisted in his efforts, and as a result, Watwa received 11 orders for sewage treatment plants in Ranthambore after one year and four months. As the company’s first project, these sewage treatment plants were built using green technology, and they were a success. In Rajasthan, water conservation has been practised and continues.
A person who fully believes in themselves may encounter challenges, but they do not stray from their course. Shashikant, who launched a startup, experienced the same thing and also succeeded in that because he wanted to risk it all on his concept. And somewhere, he had total confidence in his plan. As a result, Shashikant established “Team Watwa” today and increased his company’s annual revenue to 2.5 crores.
Shashikant further shares, “I am confident that any goal can be attained with hard work and dedication because, in less than four years, we installed more than 200 water treatment plants, recycled and reused 30 lakh liters of water every day, and provided employment for more than 25 people.”
Watwa currently operates offices in more than 8 cities and focuses on water conservation. Additionally, Watwa has built sewage treatment facilities in many states, including Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Delhi, and Himachal, in order to conserve water. Watwa’s primary goal is to stop water pollution in the Yamuna and Ganga rivers. Watwa is currently contributing to the future of his nation.
