The National Scheduled Castes Commission, as per Article 338 of the Indian Constitution, is a constitutional institution formed by the Indian government in collaboration with the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment to oversee and legally investigate matters related to the protection, security, and socio-economic and cultural upliftment of Scheduled Castes.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, every year, this institution prepares a report on the comprehensive development and safety of Scheduled Castes, which is submitted to the President.<\/p>\n
