The organisation\u2019s mission centres around providing a nurturing, permanent home for individuals with intellectual disabilities who cannot live independently, ensuring that no family is left asking,\u00a0<em>\u201cWho will care for my child after me?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The event began with a\u00a0warm welcome address by Mr. Ajay Mehta, who set the tone of gratitude and shared purpose. The proceedings were anchored with grace and compassion by\u00a0Mr. Sachin Kelkar, the evening\u2019s Master of Ceremonies.<\/p>\n<p>A highlight of the evening was an evocative session titled\u00a0\u201cAdhar\u2019s Journey \u2013 A Reflection on 31 Years of Transformative Work,\u201d\u00a0presented by\u00a0Mr. Arun Wadhwa, who powerfully narrated ADHAR\u2019s evolution\u2014from its humble beginnings to becoming a model of inclusive, lifelong care.<\/p>\n<p>The evening\u2019s core was a deeply engaging\u00a0panel discussion\u00a0on\u00a0<em>\u201cIntellectual Disability, future vision of ADHAR and the Power of Collective Action\u201d<\/em>, featuring:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mr. Milind Sarwate, Strategic Advisor to ADHAR<\/li>\n<li>Mr. Vishwas Gore, Chairman, ADHAR<\/li>\n<li>Ms. Sangeeta Dasmohapatra, Chief- Partnership and Communication<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The panel addressed critical concerns faced by caregivers\u2014lifelong dependency, the invisibility of adult care needs, and the lack of systemic solutions. It provided a forum for both introspection and action which explored Adhar\u2019s present impact, future vision, upcoming plans, and the urgent need for deeper stakeholder engagement.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking at the event,\u00a0Mr. Vishwas Gore\u00a0shared:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWe are not merely building homes\u2014we are building futures. ADHAR stands as a promise to every parent that they will never walk this journey alone.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Rather than individual honours or recognitions, the evening embodied collective gratitude\u2014a heartfelt acknowledgement of the donors, volunteers, professionals, and caregivers whose silent efforts sustain ADHAR\u2019s work.<\/p>\n<p>A major highlight of the evening was Mr. Milind Sarwate\u2019s introduction of the 5 P\u2019s Framework\u2014Partnership, Purpose Alignment, People Involvement, Potential Building, and Promotion, which was thought-provoking and inspired deeper reflection on sustainable engagement, encouraging corporates to move beyond funding and foster long-term, purpose-driven collaborations.<\/p>\n<p>Ms. Sangeeta, drawing on her extensive experience in the social field, highlighted how ADHAR stands out in today\u2019s transactional world by staying deeply rooted in care, empathy, and integrity.
